Resource Center Visits
Resource center visit is the extended part of MaaDoo, where every 8th and 9th standard students gets a chance to visit the resourceful places in and around them it can be at Ramakrishna Ashram premises at Shivanahalli for 8th standard and a 2-day nature camp at Jungle Lodges, Bannerughatta for 9th standard.
Educators of MaaDoo project also visited some resource centers to educate themselves to be more effective educator.
Ramakrishna Mission, Shivanahalli
Every Saturday of the week one of our ten school gets the chance to visit the resourceful place at Ramakrishna Ashram premises at Shivanahalli. Where there are some outdoor activities that are planned in such way so as to explore the area through different headings and chart. This visit to shivanahalli is regularly done for 8th standard students.
Chinnara Vana Darshana
Ramakrishna Mission, Shivanahalli along with the BNP, Karnataka Forest Department is doing Chinnara Vana Darshana program from years. Students of class 9th from the Government High Schools located around the forests of Karnataka have been selected. This 2 day camp gives a first-hand experience of our natural assets and feel closer to nature.
Educating Educator
'As long as I live, so long do I learn', says Sri Ramakrishna paramahamsa. Educator also need to upgrade their knowledge, skills and adapt to the fast changing society in all aspects. Therefore the educators are sent to resource centers too, to grab the opportunity and to meet their quench for learning.
