What is MaaDoo

MaaDoo is a hub for experiential learning where children will learn collaboratively through the use of activities, games, model building, nature walks, talking to village elders, skits, music among other things. MaaDoo intends to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical experiences and its activities will be blended with school curriculum.
It is planned in such a way that the child gets a holistic idea of the issues explored. Efforts will be placed to transcend the boundaries between art, science, Mathematics and society. Furthermore, acknowledging that play is the highest form of learning – a series of learning activities will be structured around activities.
Benjamin Franklin rightly said "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn".
With this in mind, emphasis will be on evolving activities that encourage participation of children. The focus is on foraging creative expression, encouraging critical reasoning and problem solving while inculcating societal concern.

Based on Swami Vivekananda's vision of education
